I am a UK-based freelance teacher and editor committed to helping children and young people to think for themselves: to read critically, to think philosophically, to talk collaboratively and to write meaningfully.
To these ends, I support teachers with training and curriculum development; I work with children directly; I design projects and events; I edit books, websites and magazines; I speak at conferences and I host online courses. The areas I specialise in are:

- Thinking skills
- Critical reading
- Teaching the humanities, including philosophy and literature
- Readers Theatre
